Deleting your data

Last updated: 16 September 2026·Applies to the AiPraktor dashboard, its API, and any Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account connected to it.
You can have your data removed from AiPraktor, and this page says exactly how, exactly what goes, and exactly what we cannot reach. Nothing here needs a lawyer to read. If you only want the assistant to stop, you do not have to delete anything — see Leaving is not the same as erasing.

1Which of these are you?

Two different people ask this question, and the answer is different for each. Find yourself first.

You run a business that uses AiPraktor. You signed up, you connected your page, and the conversations in your dashboard are yours. You can have all of it erased, and you do not need a reason. Go to Erasing a business account.

You messaged a business and it replied with an AI assistant. Your messages belong to that business, not to us. We store them on that business’s instructions, the way a filing cabinet holds their paperwork. Go to If you messaged a business.

2If you messaged a business

Ask the business. They hold the relationship with you, they decide what happens to their records, and they can have your conversation removed from AiPraktor at any time by telling us.

If you would rather come to us directly, write to privacy@aipraktor.com from the email or phone number you used, or tell us the business’s name and the Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account you messaged from. We will find your conversation, pass the request to that business, and remove your messages. We do this whether or not the business replies to us, and we do not charge anyone for it.

One thing we cannot do is delete the copy on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. Those are Meta’s own records of your chat and they live in your Messenger or WhatsApp app. Removing them is done in that app, not here.

We will never ask you for a password, a card number or a one-time code to process a deletion request. Nobody from AiPraktor has a reason to ask for those, ever.

3Disconnecting one Facebook or Instagram page

This is the smallest step, and it is the one most people actually want. It stops the assistant on that page and cuts our access to it, while your history stays in your dashboard.

In AiPraktor, open Connections, find the page, and choose Disconnect. Three things happen at once: we tell Meta to stop sending us that page’s messages, we delete the page access token from our database, and we clear the Facebook and Instagram account ids we had stored for it. The token is gone, not disabled — there is no copy of it left to re-enable.

You can also do it from Facebook’s side, and it is worth knowing how in case you ever lose access to your dashboard. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find AiPraktor, and remove it. That revokes our permission immediately. Doing it this way leaves a dead token in our database until you tell us, so please also write to privacy@aipraktor.com and we will clear it.

4Erasing a business account

Write to privacy@aipraktor.com from the email address you signed in with and say you want your account erased. We will confirm it is really you, tell you exactly what is about to be destroyed, and do it.

Erasing is permanent and there is no undo, so it is deliberately not a button you can hit by accident. Internally it takes three separate things: the account has to already be closed, the person performing it has to be the account owner, and they have to type the business’s name back exactly. That is on purpose. For most shops the same rows are their order history.

When it runs, these are removed for good:

Conversations
every message in or out, the people records behind them, and the message ids that link them
Your assistant
its prompts and every saved version of them
Orders
the order book and the full history of changes to it
Products
the catalogue, its sources, every sync and the photo fingerprints
Sales records
leads, their timelines, and the alerts and tasks raised from them
Credentials
page tokens, WhatsApp keys, shop keys and AI keys — all of them encrypted, all of them destroyed
People
your teammates' accounts and their page access
Money
your top-up records
The account
the business itself, its pages and its settings

What is not covered: anything Meta holds. Your Facebook page, its inbox and the copies of those chats in your customers’ apps are Meta’s records and ours to read, never ours to delete. Remove those from Facebook.

5Leaving is not the same as erasing

If you stop paying or ask us to stop, your account is closed. The assistant stops answering on every channel the same minute, and nothing is destroyed. You keep reading your conversations, your orders and your customers’ details for as long as you want them, with no end date. That is a promise in our terms and it is why closing and erasing are two different requests.

We do it this way because a shop that comes back after six months should find its history where it left it, and because deleting a business’s records the moment an invoice goes unpaid is something we are not willing to do. If you want it gone, ask — we will not decide that for you.

6How long it takes, and the honest part about backups

A deletion request is acted on within seven days, and usually the same day. You get an email telling you when it is done.

Backups are the part most policies are vague about, so here it is plainly. We take an encrypted backup of the database every night and keep it off the server, because a product that loses a shop’s order book to a disk failure is worse than no product. Erasing your data removes it from the live system immediately. It also sits in those backups until they age out, which takes up to eight weeks at the outside.

Those backups are encrypted and nobody reads them in the ordinary course of business. They exist to restore the service after a disaster, and if we ever restore one, we re-apply every deletion that happened after the backup was taken. We are not willing to claim erasure is instantaneous when it is not.

7Asking

Every request on this page goes to the same place: privacy@aipraktor.com. A person reads it. Tell us which of the three you want — disconnect a page, erase an account, or remove one customer’s conversation — and enough to find you.

If you asked and did not hear back within seven days, write again and say it is a second request. We would rather answer twice than miss one.
